Felix Wong, Ph.D. is a co-founder of Integrated Biosciences. Dr. Wong holds degrees in mathematics, computer science, and physics, all from Harvard University. He is a recipient of an NIH K25 Mentored Quantitative Research Career Development Award and was featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 in Healthcare (2023).
Max Wilson, Ph.D. is a professor of molecular biology at UC Santa Barbara since 2018, who as a co-founder and Scientific Advisory Board member brings expertise in optogenetics and the ISR. Dr. Wilson holds degrees in biology, biophysics, and bioengineering from Swarthmore College and Princeton University.
Satotaka Omori, Ph.D. is the Head of Aging Biology. Dr. Omori holds degrees in biology from the University of Tokyo, where he worked with Dr. Makoto Nakanishi, Japan’s pre-eminent aging expert. His research has been published in high-impact journals such as Nature, Science, and Cell Metabolism.
Ryan Lach, Ph.D. is the Head of Cell Engineering. Dr. Lach holds degrees in neuroscience and bioengineering from Colorado College and UC Santa Barbara. His research has been published in high-impact journals such as PNAS.
Taivan Batjargal, Ph.D. is the Head of Systems Biology. Dr. Batjargal holds degrees in bioengineering from UC Berkeley and UC Santa Barbara. His research has been published in high-impact journals such as Cell Systems.
Vipul Singhal, Ph.D. is the Head of Computational Biology. Dr. Singhal holds degrees in electrical engineering and computational biology from Imperial College London and Caltech, where he worked with Dr. Richard Murray. Dr. Singhal was also a senior scientist at the Genome Institute of Singapore, and his research has been published in high-impact journals such as Nature Genetics, Nature Reviews Genetics, and Nature Communications.
Sean Brown, Ph.D. is the Head of Medicinal Chemistry. Dr. Brown holds degrees in chemistry from UC Davis and Caltech, where he worked with Dr. David W. C. MacMillan and directed research that contributed to the 2021 Nobel Prize in Chemistry (awarded to Dr. MacMillan). Dr. Brown has held scientific leadership roles at Amgen, Nura Bio, and Dorian Therapeutics, and his research has been published in high-impact journals such as Neuron, Cancer Discovery, and Journal of the American Chemical Society.
Brent Lyda, Ph.D. is the Head of Discovery Chemistry. Dr. Lyda holds degrees in chemistry from the Montana State University and University of Montana. Dr. Lyda has held scientific leadership roles at The Scripps Research Institute, UC San Diego, 1859 Inc., and Spectral Therapeutics, and his research has been published in high-impact journals such as Nature Communications and PNAS.
Alicia Li, B.A. is a Research Associate and top graduate of UC Berkeley’s bioengineering program, where she pursued research using optical tweezers in Dr. Carlos Bustamante’s lab.
Jose Nunez, B.A. is a Research Associate and top graduate of UC Santa Barbara's mechanical engineering program, where he pursued research developing optogenetic tools in Dr. Max Wilson’s lab.
James J. Collins, Ph.D. is Termeer Professor of Bioengineering at MIT and Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board at Integrated. Dr. Collins was a MacArthur Fellow and a Rhodes Scholar, and he holds degrees in physics from Holy Cross and University of Oxford. A founder of the field of synthetic biology, Dr. Collins is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the National Academy of Medicine, and the National Academy of Sciences. Dr. Collins is also a co-founder of Senti Biosciences, EnBiotix, Synlogic (NASDAQ: SYBX), and Sherlock Biosciences.
David W. C. MacMillan, Ph.D. is James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor of Chemistry at Princeton, Nobel laureate in Chemistry (2021), and a Scientific Advisory Board Member at Integrated. Dr. MacMillan holds degrees in chemistry from UC Irvine and University of Glasgow. Dr. MacMillan is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, a fellow of the Royal Society, and a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is a co-founder of Chiromics LLC, Penn PhD LLC, Dexterity Pharma LLC and Antenna Bio LLC.
Timothy Lu, Ph.D. is CEO and co-founder of Senti Biosciences and a Scientific Advisory Board Member at Integrated. Dr. Lu holds degrees in computer science, medicine, and medical physics from MIT and Harvard. Dr. Lu is also a co-founder of Synlogic (NASDAQ: SYBX), Eligo Bioscience, and Engine Biosciences.
Wendy B. Young, Ph.D. is a biotechnology, pharma, and life science executive with more than 30 years of experience in the discovery and development of new medicines and research platforms. From 2006-2021, she was instrumental in building the Small Molecule Drug Discovery division at Genentech. Dr. Young holds degrees in chemistry from Wake Forest University and Princeton University.
Uri Alon, Ph.D. is Professor and Head of the Sagol Center for Longevity Research at the Weizmann Institute of Science. Dr. Alon is one of the pioneers of systems biology, a field that studies how the parts of cells work together to perform the functions of life. He holds degrees in physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Weizmann Institute of Science.
Karl G. Sylvester, M.D. is a Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics, Associate Dean of Maternal and Child Health Research at Stanford, and Co-Director of the Stanford Metabolic Health Center. Dr. Sylvester focuses on clinical product strategy development and is a practicing physician. He holds degrees in biology and medicine from the University of Scranton and Thomas Jefferson University, and completed his surgical residency and fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and the Yale School of Medicine.
Hahn Kim, Ph.D. is Director of the Princeton University Small Molecule Screening Center. Dr. Kim is an independent advisor and holds degrees in chemistry from Princeton University and Seoul National University. Dr. Kim is also a co-founder of Chiromics LLC.
